Every favorite song in our life has an untold story. Some stories are told but some are still hidden somewhere in the core of our heart. A maid name Queen (id hidden) happen to be in contact with me since, i was small. She was also blessed with a daughter, who was my childhood friend too. Didn’t saw her for a term so,I catechized queen,’ Where is Salma? how is she ? Where has she been?…’
With the tears in her eyes, she unfolded an untold story of her daughter…
Salma (id hidden), has always been fun loving and full of life. During her schooldays, she met group of girls and got carried away with their lavishing talks. Soon, she owned valuable things and gave various reasons of sources to her mother. She was fed up of re-questioning by her mother.
One day, She left with her friends to Delhi. After few days, she called her mother to inform about her whereabouts and said soon she will be leaving for Goa.
A year passed by there was no news of her. But, somewhere in the heart Queen (mother of Salma) had hopes.
Until, A Call …
She rushed to hospital as police informed her about her daughter. She was asked to register complaints regarding the incident but she denied.
After few weeks, Salma to her mother, ‘A day in Goa at a party, I got a call from my boss, he called me in a hotel room and sold me to some person. He tried to misbehave with me, gave him a thrash on his face and ran over. But, some people hit me on my head and made me unconscious. Soon after, I found myself in a car. Luckily, men in car got down at some refill station. Half conscious … I looked around for help and saw two police officers at some distance and ran unconsciously towards them.’
[Present] News flashed…
A 4 year girl child rapped.
Astonished!
Queen cried aloud…Remembering her last call,‘ Your daughter is drugged and is found on the borders of Muzaffarpur.’
Wiping off her tears, like her name… she smiled , gave her gratitude to god and continued humming her favorite song, ‘Lag ja gale ki phir, ye hasin raat ho na ho, shayad phir is janam mein, mulakat ho na ho.’
Questioned?
Salma was fortunate…but Is every girl in the country fortunate?
